Hello,
I expect to upgrad my summit with xerun 150A but esitate between 1800/2000/2200 KV
Is'it smooth enough with sensor plugged to crawl. I run 4S, stock engine is good to climb but is to slow for bashing a little...

I know it is hard set to climb and bash, just wondering if the engine is powerful enough to bash?
Because sensored motor usually not heave so much power than senzorless but here they say about 1,4KW.

I think it is powerful enough, if you look at my other video you can see my kid mess around with this on 4S and 18 - 65 gears. You can put 20 - 54 in it if you want more speed.
If you want more power you can always go to 5S or 6S.
I like the Summit on 4S because of the wide range of use (crawling to bashing both pretty good). For real bashing I use the Revo MMM on 5S with 20 - 60 gears.
The difference between sensored and sensorless is far less than between 4S and 6S

Hy
I search a good brushless setup for my summit, i will by the hobbyking HK150A esc, because i heave 3 of them and they are realy good for 66$, but i don`t now about the motor, will buy the sensored motor but no heave experiance with it, for now heave hobby king motor witch is very good for bashing but not so precission, so can you tell me more about this motor i now that is good for crawling but what about the limit speed, torque, for bashing around... will drive on 4s lipo 5,2Ah.
Thanks

Hi here are the specs for this motor:
-Model: XERUN 4274SD KV2000 Sensored Brushless Motor
-Rotational Speed: 2000 KV
-Motor Dimensions (Diameter x Length): 42mm x 74mm
-Shaft Dimensions (Diameter x Length): 5mm x 18.5mm
Depending on gearing you can get it up to 70KM/H on 4S.
The thing is that you have to tweak the ESC settings to find a balance between smooth for crawling and snappy for bashing. Getting the settings so that both are perfect is almost impossible.

@mirob933 Hi, Like it very much. Great value for money, smooth and powerful, doesn't get hot.
