theres 52 cards in a deck if i open only got 2 diamonds i want rid of them i know someone at table has king or ace diamond that suit,guy my left chucks a 3 diamond in my mate throws 7 diamond boy to my right chucks ace in,then with a smile he throws the king diamond in i got rid my last diamond the 2,i hate cards lol
A good analogy (or at least suitable) would be this. "Bridge is to Texas Hold 'Em as Chess is to Checkers" I've won Hold 'Em tournaments with up to 150 players, and I still am learning the subtleties of bridge.
Very good tutorial. Do you have a video previous to this one explaining the high card point values and how to open the bidding in more depth as an introduction on youtube?
Nice intro, ans thanks for posting but I also wondered how different this was than American Standard, given the opening with 4 card majors. Also, I was taught to add 3 points for a void, 2 for a singleton and 1 for a doubleton. The distributive values in this video ( 5 for a void, 4 for a singleton ) seem high. But HEY, whatever floats your boat, and this vid is really easy to follow.
