A good analogy (or at least suitable) would be this.
"Bridge is to Texas Hold 'Em as Chess is to Checkers"
I've won Hold 'Em tournaments with up to 150 players, and I still am learning the subtleties of bridge.

Very good tutorial. Do you have a video previous to this one explaining the high card point values and how to open the bidding in more depth as an introduction on youtube?

Nice intro, ans thanks for posting but I also wondered how different this was than American Standard, given the opening with 4 card majors. Also, I was taught to add 3 points for a void, 2 for a singleton and 1 for a doubleton. The distributive values in this video ( 5 for a void, 4 for a singleton ) seem high. But HEY, whatever floats your boat, and this vid is really easy to follow.

May I ask,iIs this Acol, or a European system we don't play in the States?

Wow. People have tried to teach me to play bridge before, but no one has managed to do so as clearly as you. Thank you!
