Grumman Olson is the company that bodied this '53 Chevy step van that I picked up yesterday.
I don't know if it was a bread or milk truck or what.
It came out of Orem Utah, but there was a sticker inside that was from California,
as well as a Canada address.. I'll find one of the previous owners and see if I can find out some history.. I believe I can lightly sand the signs on the side of the truck, to see what it says underneath the paint.. I may customize it with those front fenders you see in the front compartment, as well as adding dual wheels, and narrow running boards.
Looks like easiest way to do the bodywork would be to start in small areas with chemical stripper... Thats how i am doing my 66 e 100 and it seems to be working :-)

I have that exact van. Some shithead stole my front grill. That chevy grill isn't original, but it is a good replacement idea.

I would leave the rear axle the way it is in the vid. It looks good that way. Just paint and repair the bad stuff.
