The last in a series of five videos shot on GLASTONBURY TOR, ENGLAND.. All five are on this channel.

Jana Runnalls and fellow drummers, Tiziana, Dee and Gaetan, finish off this session at Beltane 2009, with more rousing Fire-Drumming and singing.
Great stuff.
The Sun has risen!

***The bored-looking, and yawning film crew you see here are from Bristol University.

This video appears to have its viewcount stuck on 879 for some reason; it's had far more.

  • It's a shame that some of those people who were lucky enough to be there were bored and kept yawning throughout. No matter what religion you are, this is a beautiful celebration! Blessed be )O(

Hi there, I take your point but you'll see that it is merely a Child and the Bristol University film crew that yawned. It was very early in the morning, and I suspect it was before the regular time for getting up from bed for most!

  • Excellent!! :) Absolutely breath taking! Great video

  • Thanks, I enjoyed being at this celebration.

    Mike.

  • miksey1,

Another wonderful video series. I was hoping you would post something for Beltane, and I was not disappointed in the least!

Thanks for bringing us this beautiful celebration, especially for those of us across "the pond" that are unable to attend in person.

  • @mikesey1 Ah, of course! Well, regardless, I am still jealous of these lucky human beings :)

Ah, the Lord of the Rings! a great film., and books.

JRR Tolkein actually visited this area when writing his books! Cheddar Gorge is one place featuring, and he may have visited Glastonbury too, and it could have been the inspiration for "Middle Earth, or so I'm told.

this event on the Tor is held every year, so you have plenty of opportunity to visit some time.

    Bye now.
