Here is what I recommend. For me A great rifle scope must meet a few criteria.
1. It must be affordable.
2. It must be from a name brand that is reputable.
3. It must be durable
4. It must be easy to use.
If it has a tactical advantage like.... Mil dot cross hairs that light up, decent eye relief, (shock-water-fog) proof, hold over dots, multicoated lens, and no glare finish for under 100 bucks. Now that is what I call a deal!!

  • I got a 3-9x40 nikon prostaff($150, i got a deal $60) with bdc reticle for my savage 30 06 thin barrel, with $10 weaver rings. Using cheap federal soft points 150gr. I can easily shoot 1.5 inch grroups at 120 yards(with winchester bipod$40). I think it can shoot 1 moa with a bench and sand bags.

  • @akshooter762 People who can afford very expensive scopes usually get pleasure out of talking about how much they paid for it, lol. (I do) admit If you spend a fortune you get a scope that is excellent and super accurate, but why?? I may know the difference, but I won't pay for it. What I can afford is my main concern, and this scope works.

  • Thanks for the video response.

  • @DEMCAD No sweat brother, I watch you every day and I think you are spot on!

I can send you that scope if you want it?

I don't have any scope rings at the moment but they are not too expensive.

Just let me know if you want it in a personal message.

  • Hey nice informative video, also do you know if millet scopes are any good?

  • what u think about barska?

  • Stay away from high power scopes (above 16x) if you are on a budget. The BSA contender 4-16x is a great scope on a budget
