Its sad that we as Black Women have HAD to struggle with OUR hair and for OUR hair. Redefining ourselves and our meaning. Its so hard todays world when you are questioned by your own about your OWN. Ive had a few experiences with White men that have simply looked passed my hair. Ive had more brothas just stop and there tracks and say to me " AWWW NAW WHAT DID YOU DO?," and I simply answered .I just simply cut MY hair. Im not my hair. Im more than that, cant you see?

Loved the video!! I have been coloring my natural hair to cover up the gray for years. I actually did not color it recently and my gray is showing. I have to change my thinking because gray hair was negative to me, I now am learning to accept my gray hair and love it. I am looking forward to a new road in my journey!! Thanks love your videos!!!!

I know I really loved my short haircut. I thought it was spunky and fun. Guys seem to think that short hair means that you can't grow hair. I've read somewhere that long haired women are considered more fertile. So it sends an subconscious message to men, similar to wide hips and large breasts.

I dont know whats wrong with them West Coast Bros. but when I first cut my locs about 6yrs ago brothers were going crazy over my little bald head. Us women got to set the standard not these men. If more of us carry the short natural like we know we are looking hot then the brothers will follow too. Now I aint got to worry bout it cause my head is for my hubby but even he had to get over the long hair thing too. He didnt have no choice cause I do what I want. lol!
