Do we have to use a boar-bristle brush can I use my regular paddle brush( which I just bought ) or my normal round brush

Tip for poor college students without a nozzle: You can take someone else's nozzle from a broken dryer and duct tape it onto your dryer, assuming it's not a perfect fit.

My hair dryer doesn't have a nozzle, and when I dry my hair it turns out a little frizzy. I assume that if I got a dryer with a nozzle it would turn out much smoother? When I get it done at the salon my hair looks so silky after they do it and I can never recreate it myself.
