@cyberboy5red Well, that's the kind of question I'm wondering myself, but the exact opposite. In episode, "The Devourer", she can finally see monsters. Hurray! The question is, how did she know them immediately such as of seeing Bombo the first time, she knows him?

3:31 - If Elena can't hear or see monsters, how did she know Bombo was about to drive the car? Well, based on the fact she could see the driving hat, how could she tell it was Bombo himself?
