Social sciences study the phenomenon of groups, individual behaviors, governming, social and cultural factors. In academia it is respected as just that a social science, not to be confused with the natural sciences such as biological or chemical sciences. There are theories and analysis behind social sciences.

@12darkfoe politics is an important study. But its not a science, that's a misnomer for sure. Its more like philosophy and social analysis, but not science.

Learn to play politics in any business/setting. Know the right people, how to play the rules, identify authorities, and manipulate people into your favor. It's actually pretty useful.
