A response blog to a reading on surrogacy for one of my classes. Just me talking about... being aware, life, choices and autonomy. http://www.newsweek.com/id/129594/output/print

One reason I haven't updated in so long? I change my mind about things and look back and think, "Why did I think that?" I don't mind disagreements and discussions, but the friendly sort are probably the best.

Word.

  • And it's super cool you mentioned (and read) 1984. Watch (download it. F it :)) this magical Anime from 1978 called 'Galaxy Express 999'. Touching story that'll ake you cry but think. It's about a dystopian society where the underdog holds the bulk of the wealth and biomechanoid bodies are what people need to survive (as they don't require food). Toshiro meets a mysterious woman on the train that travels the galaxy from planet to planet. He wants a mechanical body. But it'll cost him...

  • Thank you for blogging. You made me love you tube. It's so important to be open-minded but discerning, conscientious but fierce. Keep reading!! You raise intelligent questions - therefore you have power. If you believe in a cause stick to it, but always consider OPV (other persons' views) first. it's a term we use in business and philosophy! That elite class you mention is TINY. they're the super wealthy and keep national secrets from you and me, that are of worldwideand economic importance!!!

  • Don't give up! lots of people feel the way you do and some people are still fuzzy and confused on how they might feel about all of this. I don't think your far off at all and this is one of many of the problems that our world is falling into. We don't live in a black/white world there are so many underlying things about our world that some people maybe do not notice as a problem or question enough. If more people opened their mind to whats going on we might be able to see change! ty 4 ur vid! :)

  • why isnt there more people just like you. someone who makes sense. someone who shares their love and thoughts. you are like a female version of michael jackson.

  • Meg, I miss you .... and you do make a difference. You don't even know how much difference this video made for me. It touched things that I am going through right now! Thanks for posting. Hugs.

  • I'm glad you made a new video. I like listening to what you have to say. It usually gives me something to think about. Thank you :)

  • Yay! You made a video!

And, it's good - I don't necessarily agree with everything you said, but I like the sentiment behind it, and it's very well-spoken. :)

  • This seems pretty similar to our conversation...last night? The night before? I don't even know. It sucks that certain groups of people have so much control and the majority isn't even aware of it. Life is crazy. And I hope that things can be changed because I don't want to believe things are totally hopeless.

  • it meant something to me! :) you make a difference...don't ever think otherwise.
