@TheBrautigans - story I heard, no idea if it's true, was keyboard player just walked out in middle of tour. Remaining band members had to improvise new sound there and then in order to continue.

I have loved this song since it came out in the late '60s, but just seeing this video for the first time today. I really enjoyed it, especially how it is obviously real and not staged. Look at 1:58 the singer sort of chuckles on the sound track and also in the video, making it clear there is no lip synching going on here!
