The bloodhound and basset hound are really good buddies, but they are only a year apart in age. Maybe if you adopt an older bloodhound around the same age as the basset that would be good. But they really are a perfect match for each other. They ususally keep each other out of trouble, but as you can see, not all the time. Haha.

do these dogs generally get along because i have a nine year old basset hound who is an old man who technically likes everything his way. My basset likes to sleep and moap around.. will a bloodhound maybe lighten the mood, keep jim company or drive hime crazy..
