A very lively setting of the Italian Chiacona bass, by John Blow 1649-1708 and played by Timothy Roberts on a Patrick Chevalier harpsichord. Morlake (Mortlake) was a riverside village near Richmond between London and Hampton Court, now a suburb of Greater London.

  • @kornstew Pretty sure it's in Blow: 25 Harpsichord Pieces (Stainer & Bell, London, £7.50) but ring them first to check

    stainer.co.uk/acatalog/abkeyboard.html

Otherwise it's the complete Blow Complete Harpsichord Music, £81.00!
