@AndersonReis42 oh god you're right O_O recently i read the manga and didn't notice that detail xD
-
@fr801 in the manga he plays stravinsky's Firebird, hence a "fire bird". In the anime he plays Tchaikovsky's Swan's Lake, hence a "water bird"
-
What the hell, Hamel can summon spirits?!
-
ya ive played one and its sooooo hard to control ur air!
-
why raiel summons a water bird? in the manga was a fire bird so why changing the.. "elements"?
-
@animefan809 nah i don't think so xD in the anime when raiel jumped out the roof he fell and his piano just smashed him xD and they said it was 100 kg so,nope, they're not light

@lkmjr It's called the contrabass flute. When transporting it would be taken apart and put in a case, so it would take up less space. However, you're correct that it would take a god awful amount of air to play. Despite being so tiny normal flutes actually are one of the most air intensive instruments because you blow over the flute rather than into it, so I have no idea how someone would actually manage to play a bass flute, let alone the larger varients. People apparently do manage it, though.

Hamel and Raiel sounded so cool together! ^-^

Actually, I just started reading the manga, and it turns out that Raiel-falling-on-his-face-and-
being-unable-to-get-up-because -he-has-a-solid-gold-piano-on- his-back is a (somehow very funny) reacurring joke in the series. ANd he calls himself the "Golden Piano Hero of Love." No comment.
My question is how those kids manage to carry massive instruments all over the place. Hamel's violin is almost as tall as he is and Raiel's got a mini grand piano on his back. Flute could probably fit inside either one of them, too.
This anime has a lot of funny moments, which is surprising amidst all of the death and terror and moments of hysteria. For some reason, Hamel's decidedly cool and serious character makes me want to laugh, as does Raiel's ridiculous outfit and Oboe's face.
