WLIW New York's VISIONS series embarks on an aerial pilgrimage to the world's only Jewish state -- home to approximately 7.2 million and the Holy Land of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Set to regional music and informative narration, stunning aerial and ground HD footage showcases Israel in all its diverse glory in honor of the State's 60th anniversary. From bustling Tel Aviv to the somber Dead Sea, VISIONS flies over where Jewish pioneers made the desert bloom; where Egyptians, Greeks and Romans built outposts to their empires; and where Jesus Christ performed miracles. Witness the religious life and landmarks of Old Jerusalem including the Temple Mount, Via Dolorosa and moving Holocaust Memorial at Yad Vashem, plus secular delights like the resort city of Eilat on the Red Sea, the marvelous beaches of the Mediterranean Coast, and Israel's only ski resort atop Mount Hermon.
