Please help me find the full lesson. I remember a longer video here on youtube but I cant find it anymore. He did the blister exist riff, then a chromatic exercise and then I remember he talked about modes and stuff.
What episode is that? so I can watch the full lesson by Jim unless this is it..

DBZ and Dean are both two separate companies.
By the way, active pickups aren't really a metal thing, a lot of bass players use them just to get a louder output because of how low tuned a bass is. As a matter of fact, they don't contribute at all to tone at all really, if anything, they worsen tone hahaha.
