Yes, it does work, but not as well as the vrt, due to the 2 stage juicing screen on the 8006 that has larger holes. I will make a video one of these days comparing the 8006 and vrt making nut milk.

I would pour the INITIAL soak water out. It can contain enzyme enhibitors and other "waste" products of the almonds germinating. Probably not the worst thing for you. You can use it if you would like; I prefer not too.

I have not tried this, so im not sure. Rice is so small, so Im thinking it will not be effective.

I would encourage you to soak all your nuts and beans when making soy milk, it makes them softer and easier to process and more efficient to get the milk out.

about 10 cups of almond milk based on my calculations of 1 cup of almonds to 3 cups of water.

No, this technique will NOT work in a jack lalanne effectively. It would be best to blend the nut milk in the blender and then strain with a nut milk bag.
-
I do not think the screen will not FIT the other machines as there may be minor differences in design.

You can do this, but the first time thru was pretty effective at getting most of the liquid out.

No. Only the soy milk.
i have a question. sorry, i have a vitamix and even using a nut milk bag, i still get some grit. I want my almond milk to have the same consistency as store brought almond milk. Will the omega vert juicer get everything out so there's absolutely no grit or grime or anything? That's important to me, I like my milk smooth like it is in the store without any funny type of tastes. thank you so much. i was thinking of using a juicer and came across your video.

The vrt will leave some grit in the juice. You need to get a better nut milk bag that has a finer mesh, such as a cotton bag.

@rawfoods Hi. I am debating between VRT330 HD and 8006. I really like the fact that the 8006 has multifunction features, however, I would really like to be able to make good nut milk. What do you mean by the 8006 not work as well as the vrt? Am i going to have more trouble making nut milk with the 8006? Thank you!
