do you have any plans to test the crazy grizzly xtreme 175gr rounds?

heavy clothing decreases expansion of the bullet but in turn helps penetration. In my hot environment +p bullets expand to quickly in most loadings and don't penetrate far enough for my liking. Speer's gold dot seems to be immune to that happening. I also like federal's hst non +p here in your chosen caliber. I lived in the pacific northwest and carried either +p hst loads in the winter or gold dots.

You should try the ranger t series in 45 acp:)

@darksamurai73 I agree, a good ballistic gel test would be appreciated for those. there are lots of debates whether or not the have enough penetration.

@tdub9899 If a bad guy had a Carhart coat on and a jean shirt with a t-shirt on underneath, that is alot of material to go through. Hence the 4 layers of denim in testing.

Please test Grizzly Xtreme!

The best part about the XTP rounds: You can buy the slugs separately and "roll your own" if you reload.

One thing that became apparent to me. Anybody that get shot with round, they're not going to walk away.

@darksamurai73 i know he will get a million views if you test the Grizzly Xtreme 175 +p round.. i can't find a gel test for them wanna see if it will penetrate enough..

I would love to see what 230 grain FMJ ball ammo does in a sim test. I carry handloaded 230 grain xtp's in my rock island 1911 they are coming in at around 850 FPS out of a 3.5 inch barrel and around 900 FPS out of my glock 21 SF. thanks for the info I can have somewhat of an idea of what I can expect.

@tdub9899 I always walk around with at least five pairs of jeans on. I'm homeless, so it makes it easier to carry them.
So why 4 layers of denim? I've never seen anyone walking around with 4 pairs of pants on.... Please explain

@tdub9899
Has nothing to do with pants. IWBA, International Wound Ballistics Association standard, and my thread count is also close to their preferred specs. Simulates heavy clothing, somewhat of a worse-case scenario.
