  • How is it for gaming? im planing on buying the same laptop in a few weeks. I know it won't play game in full res but do games like GTA 4 play well?

  • @kingtorm2 It's not my laptop but I can tell you it isn't for gaming.... Any laptop, for that matter, isn't for gaming. You're looking at Alienware for mobile gaming.

  • Heey! Man! I have the SAME LAP! :D its awesome.. but, MAYBE sily question, but as you know! :D at first, when you turn on you pc, and tht, the pad befores had a light, as well when its says 'Satellite" down, left, and the Vol + - AND NOW! D: i dnt know why, they dont show up again, DO YOU KNOW WHY? maybe i canceled them... or it is on an option, like "Eco Toshiba" or something e__e

BY THE WAY, SORRY ABOUT MY POOR ENGLISH, i know, pretty bad xD THAKS! :)

  • @RobiiniceCream Eco Mode turns off all computer lights (volume up, volume down) as well as turn down the brightness.

  • @jkfw6 I should add too that that's running it 1366x722 (it's native resolution) which also, isn't too shabby. Expect to see those numbers get higher if you downsize your resolution to like 1200x(whatever). You should be more than happy gaming with it. Don't forget too that for around 30 bucks, you can add 4 more GB of RAM giving you 10GB total, which is pretty awesome for a laptop.

  • @kingtorm2 I got one for Christmas, by no means will it dominate in the gaming department, but with it's sizable ram it handles them just fine. I'm getting back into the Half Life series since my old laptop crapped out and it will run Episode 2 cranked all the way up and get an average of about 60fps. As for newer games: not so much. However, if you tweak the settings and it will do just fine (won't be the spit shined version some computers can run) but more than respectable.
