Mine's an inkjet. Decal paper is made for lasers too. I just don't know much about this topic yet. Your best bet is to check around the hobby forums such as hobbytalk dotcom or resinilluminati dotcom.

So would that be inkjet or a colour laser printer? I really want to make my own decals but just dont know what printer would work best, I know the ALPS and OKI micro dry printers are the best but they dont make them anymore so im still trying to find out the best one for the job, someone must know

I have yet to print my first decal, however my current printer that any decals would be done on is a canon mp...450 maybe. Don't know offhand.
I've heard people herald the epson for decals, but I can't confirm or deny that notion. I've gone through several brands of printers over the last dozen years and canon is my preference regardless.

what printer do you use to print your decals??

Trader Joe's has some good food!
Seeing the base makes me wonder what you'd do for a original scratchbuild ship.
I bet it would look cool:)

When I see the large model, there is some space showing at the bottom of the "earmuffs" on the side....so, I'm asking, resin kit limitation, and the wrong shape of resin to try to heat and adjust, or, just not enough space for you to think about in terms of adding modeling paste, etc? I just won one of the big ones on ebay, so with paypal backing me, the kit will have to show up at my door, or, i get my dough back through paypal...

@sclogse1 At some point, I'm goign to put the earmuffin the oven. very low heat, maybe 10 mins and check often. When sufficiently soft, place the muff on the model and press into place. That's all that's needed. I should have done it before all the paint, but it shouldn't be a problem. The heat is going to be in the 100° range.
