Get a taste of what riding a train into the Brightwater West Tunnel Project. The tunnel boring machine (TBM) is currently configuring its guidance system six-miles inland from Point Wells for the final push to meet up with the next section of what will be a 14-mile tunnel from Point Wells to the Brightwater Treatment Plant. Laborers move to the TBM via trains pushed by small but powerful locomotives that also carry material cut by the TBM out of the tunnel.
