The good ones always go in threes it seems and this week, Britain lost three of the very best.

Arthur C Clark, arguably the greatest of all Science Fiction authors and inventor of the communications satelite, died at his home in Sri Lanka aged 90. The Sommerset born author, best known for 2001: A Space Odyssey, made into the landmark film by Stanley Kubrik, authored more than 100 novels and many more short stories. His latest work, a collaboration with Fredick Pohl, is due out in a matter of months.

  • It's missing the narration, I'm guessing...

  • What's this film called?
