Remember all of those old Kenner comercails from the 70's that had the kids playing with Star Wars and Super Powers figures in their back yards?
Well the gang at AFI made our OWN version of one of those with one of our favorite new action figure lines- Mattel's DC Universe Classics.

  • Great job plus what are sizes of these

  • @TheJoerandle These are 6" figures. They are from Mattel's DC Universe Classics and DC Super Heroes lines.

  • Element man? Did they change his name? It used to be Metamorpho. I don't know. I haven't picked up a comic in years. Maybe when I get older and regress into my second childhood...?

  • Apparently there is a rights dispute with the name "Metamorpho" and it was not able to be used for the figure. On all of the packaging and materials they ONLY refer to him as "Rex Mason the Element Man"... and we thought that was funnier to say over and over again.

  • LOL brilliant, made me laugh. I'm in my late 30's, can I come & play? Did I spot Paul Dini, or does the guy in the middle just look like him?

  • Nope. Not Paul Dini. he won't return my calls to come hang out. :) That was my friend Scott.

  • Haha! This commercial is great! It would have been cool if you guys hired the actual kids, that appeared in the Super Powers commercials. Im sure they would look exactly like the guys in the video.

  • i love it

  • this commercial cheers me up if im upset it's so funny

  • we white and nerdy and we love our superher action fingures

  • these are the kids from the 80's commercials.

  • DC Directs are better they aim for the details

I would rather have a good looking figure than an ugly posable figure sometimes but its ur opinion anyways
