@nanacoil Here's a concise history of the land. You probably don't agree with all of this but Wikipedia can be edited by everyone. Whether people are pro Israel or against Israel, I don't think it's productive to curse at people instead of actually discussing the issue on these comment pages. And it's not useful to attack fellow commenters either (all right, I did that too). But, it's not really against YouTube policy, I guess.

@nanacoil Thank you. As it happens, I've been a long time student of history. It was one of my majors at university. I teach history at high school. So I DO know my history. I began this 'discussion' by accusing you of exactly the same thing, i.e. that YOU don't know your history, an opinion I still adhere to. Perhaps we can just agree to disagree, that we read history differently and leave it at that. To say that YOUR way of looking at history is the only correct one, however, is just arrogant.

@IAmTheOnlyOneLeft Actually... the land did belong to the Muslims before the British came. It belonged to the Ottoman Muslims, who took by the sword from its previous owner, who took it by the sword from the owner before, who... and so on... and we get to the ancient Israelites, who took it from the Canaanites (they don't exist anymore), who settled it after Jacob and his kids left.

@norbuboi Clearly, you need to read some history books and discover that the history of the Israelites reaches back thousands of years. Their language at the present moment is modern in a sense: it's not exactly the language of their ancestors, but it is based on the ancient version. There are some humorous consequences, since the ancient language has no words for things like TV, so they made up some. it is multicultural because of it welcomes ppl from various cultures, but mostly jewish.
