This is a musical and visual tribute to celebrate the 40 years of the National Council for Continuing Education and Training (NCCET). Founded in 1969 as the "National Council for Community Services" (NCCS) this organization changed its name in 1973 to "National Council for Community Services and Continuing Education" (NCCSCE). Later, in 1997, the name of our organization changed to our current name - NCCET. As an affliated council of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCCET serves over 300 community colleges and 1200 members who are professionals in the field of Community Services, Continuing Education, Workforce Development, and Contract Training. This video was first shown at the 40th anniversary Gala Celebration on Oct. 19, 2009 at our annual conference in Austin, Texas. For more information on NCCET, please visit our website: www.nccet.org.
