I agree with Tim and AngelPam - the message is without doubt a powerful one but there is no need for the bad acting. I was in a high powered job, a single mum and was very ill. A friend at work saw the state of me and said "What are you still doing here?" - I replied "I'm trying to provide for my kids." Her response? "Provide what, a corpse?" - I left work that day and went straight to my doctor - I took medical retirement and got well." Best days work I ever did.

I have seen some boring TED videos, but this is the first one that I've seen that comes off as fake.

A good message, but definitely lacking authenticity, which is funny in that authenticity is one of the things Scott Stratten recommends people do.

PATHETIC isn't even close!! He DESTROYS Peoples lives!!. ..."Keep Going"?? How about...Run away from yet another Problem. THAT'S why his WIFE, who he walked out on, Committed Suicide!! SHE had a Problem, i.e. "I need Help!" SCOTT::"Oh Really? ...I'm LEAVING Now!!" A MOTHER & Her 2 YOUNG SON'S were left with NOTHING except Bills & Debt!! Yet! Here he is telling the World He's some kind of a HERO!! VALIDITY: I've known him for MANY Years. I use to be a "Family Member"!! NOT any more.

Scott, thanks for the talk. I enjoyed taking 15 minutes this morning to STOP and appreciate where I am at in life and what is really important. Several of my friends also enjoyed the video when I posted in on my Facebook wall. Your talk was worth sharing... thank you.
