After a break from riding, I had left a sweat mark from my shirt on the pavemant, WOW.

A 2003 Sector 9 "Bomb Hills" Drop Thru.
I had modified this board out of pure curiosity. It handles so much better than from the original top mount.
Very responsive, super stable. Unbelievable. Like a new board

  • thats the board i was going to get!!!! but i saw the sector9 9star and i got it instead but my friedn has that board he says its really nice

  • take any S9 "Bomb Hills" deck, get a Randal Truck drop thru pattern off their site. And you have a better ride than the 9-star. Really makes that board come alive. Much more stable and very responsive.

Dont cut too much at the wheel wells @ front. it had some flex the way I had cut it.

  • Bomb Hills, Not Countries

  • Always!!!!!

  • i modified mine and it looks stupi now ahha, i suck, mine looks like the backwards version of yours, except after i messed up the back i just left the front, so its retarted. Trade?

  • This board recently broke at the front, behind the bolts. Hit a 2" rut in the road, snapped, sending the rider tumbling.

Gonna get a few more and experiment. Made a good board Better.

  • @brokos2 nope. that's a "dropped" board, but drop through is where the trucks are dropped through the deck.

  • earthwing bellyracer. done

  • you inspired me to cut up my nosewalker and make it a drop thru

  • thats not drop through that a flush mount drop through is where the trucks are higher than where you stand

  • Gotta chop the board down (length-wise), lower the wheelbase a bit. Mine was flexy when it came stock. I cut it to ~38" with 30", 29.5" and 29" wheelbases. Way sick. It's like an '09 Avenger with a more comfortable concave, and half the price.

  • i did the same thing with my 'bomb hills not countries'. Except i cut a different pattern than you. I also noticed how much more flex the board had and i was afraid of snapping it so i re-inforced it with a 3 inch wide strip of sheet metal going from truck to truck. The stiffness went back to how it was before i started cutting the board and it rides so good. i'll put pics up
