Expansion was only so-so...good but not great....but, after watching dozens (or 100s) of test videos, I could tell that the 140 Gr FTX is a hot load.
It moved your test barrel around more than any other round I have seen tested from a handgun.
It seemed to deliver the energy quickly...and that's a GOOD thing.

lol that kids slow motion laugh is great

I bought a box of these for $22 at a gun show. I also bought 127gr xtp for my g19c. I will save this ammo for self defense.

@intercooler2 We did this test before we had a chronograph. I will try to get some chrony data for you on this one.

Will this ammo work in a snub nose ruger lcr 357? Someone gave me a box of it.

@DuskbatRabbit It will fire, but I do not think it will properly expand.

@andreleger2001 does it expand properly in your SW cause you have longer barrel?

@DuskbatRabbit No, but I would guess that fired from a carbine as this ammo was designed for, it would expand. If I come across a .357 Mag carbine to use for testing I will try it out.

I ran this ammo threw my .44 super black hawk last year durring deer season, Had great groups out to 100yds, the end of my comfortable shooting range (I should mention that the revolver is scoped and I did take a few shots out to 150 yds and could still hold a paper plat but was out of my comfortable shooting range) the one deer I shot with this ammo I hit 3 time and recovered 2 slugs and had the same expantion results.
PS> any reccomendations on .44mag and .357 hunting round Thanks Kris
