Whenever Sebastian first appeared in VL, he mentioned that he had two sisters(and that's how I know that he has a sister).
To answer your second question.. I've read it on a VL message board and I've also seen pictures of her in front of the VL studios. :)

how do you firstly know that sebastian has a sister and secondly that this whoever sister will come into verbotene liebe casting?

I'm not surprised that they haven't changed the opening yet. Sebastian's sister is going to be joining the cast in a few weeks, so I'm guessing that they are still waiting for all the changes to take effect before shooting a new opening...which makes sense!
