Let's Play - Dark Souls - Episode 8 [Chaos Witch Quelaag]

In this episode, I pick up some items in the Blighttown swamp and then fail hard at summoning some phantoms to help me with the boss, eventually deciding that Maneater Mildred is the only help I need to take on Chaos Witch Quelaag. Warning: imminent amazing chest.

For those of you wondering, yes I will be visiting The Great Hollow and Ash Lake in a later episode. There's a lot of good items to pick up there (particularly in The Great Hollow) but it's a pain to backtrack from there, so I'm waiting until I get the Lordvessel.

@gord162 Its part of the game..usually an NPC and when you beat them you can then summon at a boss.
