In a way, I really miss this era of carefree living, and great music! But in another way. I'm glad that it's over too. Going by proportions, I think that this era was more innovative, and ahead of it's time, than this current time we live in now. There is absolutely no originality, or creativity, in today's advertizing. Electronics, gadgets, and technology are going at a rapid pace, but the enthusiasm of this past era is gone. In those days, the future was bright. Today it is grim.

Any idea on the name of the music used for the KH Ford commercial? I've heard the exact same cut used during NFL Films' Super Bowl XVIII highlight film (where Jim Plunkett fires a 50-yard strike to Cliff Branch).

My Grandma drove one of these. It remained in perfect condition until 2007.

Jane Seymour is beautiful!

The middle of the 80s: Jan. 1985, that must be fun for anyone who live through it, except I was awfully too young to remember at age 4 or 5. I might gotten a cabbage patch doll, but today in age 29, I don't own a car nor able to afford the high priced monthly auto insurance. It's also required by state law unlike back in 1984.
The other car ad had a "dancing" chicken costume & (s)he must felt bad! Xippvid, where is WGAL TV 8 based at, since it said "Suskehanna valley" (Penn. or NY state?). +
