  • I think if you look carefully, the monitor slapped the pangolin twice in rapid succession. The pangolin's natural defence is to snap into a ball. He was not hurt. The pangolin has very hard rough scales which can protect it even from lions. The scales move against each other and can severely lacerate anyone's fingers if picked up. I think by the time of the second slap he was already in a ball and it could not hurt him. He seemed fine afterwards anyway!

  • Rarely seen resident of southern Africa. They are protected and you are not allowed to keep them as pets. This one was caught in an electric fence, treated with cortizone and a drip after advice from a wildlife vet. Released two days later day in an area many kilometers from an electric fence after 100% recovery. It had been kept for the two days in a concrete resevoir where it encountered the monitor lizard. One of the volunteers at Daktari was video-ing it at the time.

  • this is a level 2 pangolin, it it were level 6 and already had its ulti, the pangolin could do area bash and cause greater hurt to the lizard.

  • Clever, the Defense Curl would effectively negate the Tail Whip.

  • @molike You said exactly what i said 2 years ago you piece of shit!

  • Strange... perhaps more people learned about this strange and interesting creature God gave us through watching this. Amazing animal all around. And if it had used its muscular reflex, those keratin scales might even have damaged the rock lizard... though both of them were really just minding their own business and did what came naturally when encountering something new and different. Fascinating creatures in the world, I don't understand Asian wellness shops and using this creature as a meal.
