NEW PET LOSS SONG! RAINBOW BRIDGE (comfort for loss of a pet)

My new song, "Rainbow Bridge", was written using the idea of the well-known Rainbow Bridge poem/story. A friend had shared the Rainbow Bridge poem with me several years ago after the loss of my beloved cat, Cheddar. I was recently led to write this song in April of 2010. I feel I have captured the essence of the original story using my own words and in creating what I consider to be a beautiful melody of piano & harp-blended music. I produced the video in September of 2010. At the suggestion of a friend, I filled the void of Cheddar's loss by adopting a new kitty "Callie" at our local animal shelter. Cheddar will, however, always have a special place in my heart. May you be blessed by the words and music of my song and find comfort in knowing that you will one day see your furry friend again in Heaven.

I feel so blessed to now have "Callie", a special cat that I adoped from our local shelter. Our pets are a part of us, I completely understand how you feel. The bible references animals in heaven, you'll see your sweet dog again one day. :) Ask God to give you comfort from your grief. When you are ready, the best thing you can do is to adopt another dog from your local shelter. Not only will you save a life, but the void in your heart CAN be filled again - that's what I did. I will ALWAYS remember and love the pet I lost but my new pet now gives me joy & warms my heart.

I lost two pets within a moth of each other, we miss both deeply my black lab ernie and my little mini doxi maxwell. This song has helped both my children and I thank you for the video.

I recently lost my ShihTzu. My Sophie,my baby girl. I noticed she wasn't feeling well, I laid down beside her, and kissed her soft head. I could tell she was in severe pain, at the time I didn't know, but she was in total kidney failure. I took her to the vet the next morning, the whole way there I held her in my arms. They ran many tests to confirm the kidney failure. The vet; a family friend delivered the bad news. I held her in my arms before they put her down. It was awful. RIP, my baby girl

I lost my hamster Tyler to a tumor. I am sad because it happened a day ago.

we lost our Gizmo in January, he had four major health problems we had no clue about. we took him to the vet one day because he got sick and they couldn't find anything wrong, a month later. he wouldn't even walk. he stopped walking. we took him to the emergency vet and they found out that he had a major urinary track infection, a condition where his heart was messed up and made the outside of the organs fluid and most likley a type of cancer that affected his stomach. we had to put him to sleep

Very comforting although I'm still hurting. Our baby boy Pepsi our black beautiful fluffy cat were mauled and killed by neighbor's boxer dog today 1-26-2012. Missed him so much!!

I lost my furry baby, Shadow January 4, 2012. He didn't make it to his 10th birthday (Jan 18). We knew he had developed a murmur and it would take him from us and we all dreaded that day. The day was January 4th, it's been 20 days and I cry every night when I get home and he's not here to greet me or go for our evening walks, sit by my when I watch TV, jump on my bed and sleep by my feet at night. I working on a slide show to post in Yutube. When does the pain stop?!!
