There is Réseau de Transport de la capitale )RTC) in Quebec city GM Classic #8535, a 1985 GM Classic on run #13. 8535 was at the time of the video one of the two GM classic that was still running for the RTC (other 8528), RTC has sold some of their 85 classic to STO (Société de transport de l'outaouais). All '85 are now retired

@MrKabDrivr at montreal they are stupid, I remember when i start to run into bus because i start high scholl they have retired all gm 1983-1986 in 2004, after a few 1989-90 survive untill 2007-2008 in the last one was 60-013 and I was very surprise to saw it in summer 2009. in 2010 i think i saw a 1989 59-035 spring

Well it used to be 3. 2 NovaBUS RTSes and the lone one-door Classic. I know Guy Langlois said that he couldn't stand the one-door classic due to too much dwell time on drop-off points, so it kinda made sense to retire 9130.

He can't retire the one-door RTSes yet because they're not old enough, apparently, lol.

All STO bus GM and MCI classics has back door. The #9130 fron Richelain that STCUQ has loan in 98 has no back door.

don't the STO only like have 2 types of buses? MCI classics (they look similar to the Novabus classics OC transpo has) and Novabus LFS?and there are like 2 buses STO has with no back door?

The (CTCUQ and later change to STCUQ)has loan the 9130 in 1998 (STCUQ) from the Richelain Laprairie (La Quebecoise) for a few months. The fleet of the 90's is 27 busthat STCUQ hay buy. The 9130 that the STO required was from the Richelain (La Quebecoise) All units from STO owns (ex-RTC) are still in service in april 2009: 8536, 8539, 8544, 8614, 8620 and 8624 and the STO will keep them at least for another 2-4 years! :)

8536, 8539 and 8544 have been bought by the STO in Ottawa/Gatineau and put back in service.

They also bought 8614, 8620, and 8624.

They did buy 9130 too and put it back in service but it was retired shortly after entering service.
