  • i wonder if he'd consider going with 2jz powerplant..

  • @Suprakidd1

Might be a stretch, but I'll see if I can't email him a question about going 2JZ in his Corolla. I doubt it, considering he loves his little 4AG.

  • @SERdriver yea either way he'll have a dope setup.

  • @Suprakidd1 Here is the answer Taka gave me. "About 2jz. It is good and strong motor but it has few downsides. 2j doesn't work with 86 for drifting, specially with FD rule not allowing for the engine to pass firewall. Front of the 2J will sticks out from radiator core support. Beside it is one of the heaviest motor with cast iron block. It will make so much front heavy."

  • IMO A 3sgte would be the best set up. Its awesome to see him and his 86 competing against high dollar cars, he has some skills.

  • @SERdriver i bet a 1UZ motor would be a good compromise... these guys are all realizing the torque and possibly na power of higher displacement is the way to go...

  • @SERdriver hes got a point. i guess theres reasons for jz's being in supras.

  • Nice one Taka
