Heather Dale performing Medusa live at StrowlerFest 2010 in St Louis, MO Sept 10th, 2010.

This is a song that reminds us that beauty does not get put on your face out of a bottle. It comes from within.

  • @hikarusbestfreind I've known many over the years and the really good ones do. Most sign translators put a lot into the performance so they deaf audience members can see the music.

  • I LOVE to imagine medusa sitting in her garden, relaxing on a chair sipping something, surrounded by all those statues. I especially love imagining that grin when she says "my garden's full of pretty men who couldn't stay away" U_U

  • I really love this song because I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who sees beauty from within nowadays...granted I KNOW I'm not, but everyone defines beauty so generically and just...I don't see beauty like that. I see people from the inside and I judge their beauty based on that.

    For example...Heather Dale is beautiful.

  • You can tell how much she enjoys music. Amazing song, good message (I think XD) and thanks for uploading!

  • Good to know I'm not all alone :)

  • @Mindlabytinth o my I thought I was the only one crazy enought to imagine that. Like medusa twirling around the statues and grinning at her garden. Glad to know I'm not the only one^^

  • @bobafooz heather dale is beautiful in both respects.

  • I adore this song. Its words couldn't be more true. It disgusts me to no end to see girls and women who gobble up the contents of fashion magazines as if their lives depended on it. What's the point of making the outer shell look "perfect" when the soul, the real person inside that matters most, is neglected? Do as Medusa says and don't sell yourself for anything or anyone. We're all goddesses inside and deserve to be seen as such without masks of cosmetics and tackily-revealing clothes.

  • shes so happy and it sounds like the normal one too

  • @Mindlabytinth i know! is'nt that an amazin line! a single line that can paint a beautiful picture.

  • @yumenojenna I know!!
