This documentary relates Tang Kim's story and her The Khmer Rouge Rice Fields was filmed between August 2003 and August 2004. It is based on over 35 interviews in Kandal and Kampong Chhnang provinces, as well as research and consultation with experts. She is a good story teller. She brought back all my memories. I was just 7 or 8 years old at the time and I remembered all about the Khmer rouge. It was horible, painful, and sufferring. Even now I'm 43 I sometime still have nightmare about Poll pot. It's a good thing that she remind the new generation to remember about the past so it wouldn't happen again. Cambodia needs to move forward with prosperities and peace like the rest of the world. Thank you for sharring this documentary.

Thank you for sharing this documentary. I did a small video for my counseling class as well. I got my parents choked up when they think about the past as I interview them. I hope the younger generation remember what happens to their parents and how some of them live in horrible condition in refugee camp and be able to come to America or other country around the world with nothing from their back. It's too sad and I will always remember where my parents come from because their story live with me.
