i was under the impression that the main focus of this song was the shooting of brazillian jean Charles de Menezes by the metropolitan police. yes the beginning part refers to the 7/7 bombings but just creates a context for the main story of the song.
"So I step out the station, brazilian name all over TV
Realization - I was on the next train - could 've been me"
the police had no reason to suspect jean, apart from his ethnicity.

Rip to all concerned and a big thank you for to ALL the heros of that day .... Lets unite and beat this evil and pray we dont get a repeat in this great country of ours. Love ur fellow man and this world WILL be a better place no religion should incite killings no matter how opressed u feel u are..

R.I.P to all 7/7 individuals
As a british muslim, whenever i hear this i nearly have a tear in my eye. a person from every religion was killed, muslims, christians, hindu, jews etc...R.I.P to all.
My dad could have got that underground, but he wasnt..and sometimes i wonder..what if. am lucky...and i thank God everyday.
Asians, whites, blacks - we are strongest standing together in this beauty England.
Peace to all.
