Galaga Coin-op Arcade Game trick - no shooting bees glitch

A little hard to see but you'll get the idea of this demo. It's a how-to on the "no shooting" bees trick for the arcade game Galaga. This trick works on the full-size arcade game and all versions of MAME. Originally tried this trick at Just Games Inc. in 1982. We have not see to many of these original arcade demos and tricks so we'll post more when we can. I also hope to improve my video filming skills. Thanks for the kind comments. HAPPY GAMING!

This trick does work. I did it as a kid in the 80's and I have done it recently on a standup Galaga/Ms. Pacman game at a local pizza place. Tonight I tested it, and it did work on game in "Namco Museum" for Xbox.

Galaga, what a Classic! The Highest Level I got to was 299. I remember spending 3 1/2 hours playing this game just to get that far. After I was done, I saw everything blurry for like 10 minutes. Not to mention I did this Glitch at some Pizza place called Dominique's when I was younger. But they kicked me out be because they thought I hacked their machine & I wouldn't tell them how I did it.

does this trick work on the galaga/ms pac man combo arcade machine?  cuz there is one at dave and busters down the street!!!!

4 minute "no fire" trick ......I own an original dedicated Galaga. I found another "no shoot" trick. Don't shoot the far 4 left bees in the bottom row on stage 1. Then let them circle around for about 4 minutes and shoot them after they pass 3 times without firing. Stages end at 255. Also in 2nd player position score displays 7 digits.

Most tricks also work on Mame emu's,Gameboy, Dreamcast ,Xbox, N64,Playstation,Gamecube versions. They are exact ports.

Nice. My video of this keeps the the far left bees in both rows and they have stopped firing in as little as 5 minutes.

You don't have to let it pass 100 times. I think it has more to do with time. It took about 9 minutes for it to work for me today. I enjoy playing both ways. Its not that much harder when they shoot, and many people, including myself, can turn over the score with, or without, the trick.
