Don't compare your self to mike mo , some skaters have skates for 20 plus years and mike mo is way better technically but every one learns ate a different pace , and skateboarding is so advanced now that it's hard to keep up just skate and learn something new and be stoked when you land your first kick flip or your first heel or you learned how to Ollie stair sets it board slide rails , just cause some one else is better doesn't mean you should quit cause they all sucked too and they all ate sh

I started skating way too late (at the age of 16).. and now I ride as long as he said he did back then and I still can't switch flip backtail or something like that.. sw flip down a set or something.. after tons of tries.. but don't care.. it's about hanging out with dudes and having a good time skating!

@JackBradley69 your front foot should be in a kickflip position but closer to the middle of the board and closer to an ollie, and the ball of your foot right behind your big toe should be in the concave pocket at the tail, with a bit of your big toe hanging off for a bit of extra scoop leverage. your front foot should flick out like a normal kickflip. hope this helps. that was how i learned them. it helps to get a decent sized crack in the sidewalk to learn em still, then try it moving. ~Eric
