"Let loose the dogs of war"

It was a war dog, like the kind we bred from before Christianity all the way up to the first World War. I think the fact that they were often set loose on civilians during raids up until the 16'th century has something to do with the imagery.

The term may not have existed but NU-Metal has been around since the early 1990's. They figured out that the musicianship and lyrics didn't have to be any good so long as it was loud and had a steady computer generated beat, people would still feel bad ass listening to it. This song is bad ass, the video and the lyrics are fucking awesome, and the vocals and overall sound works for it.
