A first look at Rock Band Wii on opening day!

I got Rock Band Wii on opening day, June 22nd. In this video, I start by showing you all the instruments. Then I compare the game to the Xbox360/PS3 versions. Finally I rap it all up with some gameplay (Rockaway Beach on Expert Guitar).

I was a bit sick when I made this video, so my voice might sound a little different.

The game isn't as good as the Xbox360/PS3 versions, but it's good enough for me. (Since I only have a Wii, I don't have much of a choice. :P)

The game came with one of each instrument, as with the other versions. Stand-alone instruments were not available on opening day, but they should be by July.

CORRECTION: At 6:23, when I say "Whammy Bar," I mean "Strum Bar."

EDIT2: THIS REVIEW IS OLD! I NOW RECOMMEND ROCK BAND 2! The Wii version is just as good as the other versions! The only differences are graphics and the tattoo/logo maker. It's still an awesome game though, and I think every Wii owner who likes music games will be happy with it.

It's probably gone down since release, but I'd recommend getting Rock Band 2 now. It's way better, has online, DLC, and a lot more for about $200.

Yes. any guitar model for wii works with RB2.

I recommend RB2. They're releasing tons of DLC, and listening to just one artist gets tiring after a while imo. Ur choice but I think RB2 is better.

Of course not. It was all a giant lie from VicariousVision. The Wii version of World Tour is gimped, since the online is limited to 2 Wiis connected each other.

Rock Band 2 Wii doesn't have any limitation. It's feature identical to the other versions, and FOR REAL. World Tour got blowned away.

I have this version, and my dad had to basically rebuild the footpetal with some wood, and the rubber flon the red drum is almost completely unattached. That's how much we use it :)
