PLEASE NOTE: There is now an updated reel from Greg's recent BBC3 science doc & his Bravo show electrocuting Gavin Henson: http://youtu.be/lojo9lKY5ZY

Greg is a Science Junkie. Half science geek, half adrenaline-junkie, he's up for pushing himself and science to the limit. As a daredevil scientist, Greg's on a mission to find original, edgy and immersive ways to carry out science documentaries.

Greg completed his science degree at Cambridge University where he received a first class B.A. (Hons) in Natural Sciences. His degree covered all areas of science including Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Evolution & Behaviour and The History And Philosophy Of Science. He's also got a Masters in Science Media Production from Imperial College.

Recently, Greg's been electrocuting Gavin Henson for a new show on Bravo (www.bravo.co.uk/shows/human-guinea-pig/) where he persuaded the rugby star to take a direct hit from 750,000 volts of electricity after Greg lay himself on the line first. Plus, he's currently presenting a show for BBC3 where he boils down 13.7 billion years of history into 60 minutes with lots of cool science stunts including making Big Ben chime 13 times, demonstrating the Doppler Effect by playing the guitar whilst strapped to the top of a jeep at 60mph, and exploding paddling pools on his roof terrace! (TX Autumn '10)

Last year Greg was the Science&Tech expert on BBC2's quiz series 'KnowItAlls', where he judged members of the public on their science knowledge. He has also presented BBC1's children's science/invention series 'Whizz Whizz Bang Bang', where he made crazy inventions such as an underwater canoe, hover-board, robotic horse and a jet engine bed driven by The Stig.

Greg also co-hosts a science podcast called 'Droppin' Science' (www.droppinsci.com) that's full of quirky news from the world of science, all wrapped up in a funky MTV style production. Plus he presents the new, adrenaline-fueled, Science Junkie Live Show (www.sciencejunkieshow.co.uk) - all about the science of extreme sports -- at schools, science festivals, music festivals and extreme sports festivals around the UK.

Greg grew up in the Lake District where he spent his time kayaking, climbing and merrily hanging off high wire ropes. Plus, with a love of snowboarding, kite-boarding, and surfing Greg isn't fazed by a total wipe out!
