Came across this old top-loader, and thought I'd make a video about it.

It is a 1986 Quasar with original remote and enclosed instruction book. Now before someone says, "Why didn't you hook it up to the TV?" let me answer that right now:
I have no idea.

I did later though, and it works as good as it looks. It is now in my room playing The Goonies.

  • That's 1986? More like 1982

  • Ha, that's funny and cool.

Too bad you didn't hook it up to a TV.

  • I find it funny that while i am viewing countless videos of pop-top VCRs, I am amused when they pop up and it makes me think of a band from the 80s called Simple Minds... and a song called Dont you forget about me. And you have a video of a pop top VCR, and a video of that song... Simple Minds are amused by toploading VCRs. that made me feel good. I am not the only one!!!
