This is a very difficult hike down a very remote and steep Canyon in the Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque New Mexico. I was trying to find a geocache but got skunked on this day!! If you enjoy the Wilderness, you'll enjoy this out of the way place in the Sandias...but be very careful!!

  • I have an aversion to steep hills... mostly because my balance is not the greatest. I really need to work on it though so I can get to places like this. Totally beautiful. What geocache were you looking for?

  • I was at Sandia Peak via the tram just ten days after this was filmed. Too bad I could not hear your narration with all the noisy music. I was hoping to see more of your hike down the mountain trail. Yes, these trails are VERY steep and not for the fainthearted!! Did all those mountain climbers make it to the top and if so, I hope they got down before nightfall. Enjoyed your other video of the diamondback. I love hiking but fear the snakes. I was told a copperhead was seen near the top.
