Michael plays Leo Kottke's "Watermelon." Note how Michael "whomps"
the guitar about ten seconds into the song, throwing the 1st string
painfully out of tune. Yet he somehow manages to play through it.
Michael insists that Leo's original recorded version remains the best
rendition of this song.

  • Great playing...I'll try to hear some more of Michael Gulezian. Is that a Guild F512 he's playing?

  • It's a Guild F-212XL.

  • Michael Gulezian is joy. His instrument is an extension of his body, soul and spirit, and what a spirit and soul he has. The triad: Hedges, Kottke and Gulezian

  • One of the most dynamic acoustic songs I've ever heard. The chorus gives me chills every time! A++
