Bengal cat chattering at birds

Bella loves watching the birds so I took her out in her harness and held her so she could have a bit more fun than she does skulking around the window. She's about 7-8 months old in this video.

(we got Bella from a shelter, so we cannot be sure what breed the father was, but we were told the mother was bengal)

my cat does that sometimes....i think its a bengal thing and bengals are one of the only breeds that cat learn how to fetch like my cat does cuz shes a bengal :)

It very well could be a bengal thing. Bella fetches too, but sometimes she just grabs what you threw and runs off with it. Other times I'll be sitting somewhere and she'll start dragging toys over to me. So cute.

@mosspath53 One of my cats, Church, does it too...he's not a Bengal although he is partially spotted, he was a feral baby I rescued. I also have another one, Blaze (we think he's half-brother to Church) who loves to play fetch.

@chicagocanine Bella liked to play fetch too, she was really good at it. And hide and go seek, I'd run and hide, and she'd run around the house meowing until she found me.

That's how all cats respond to bird sightings. The birds get the cats' juices flowing and they chatter that way.
