something i noticed is that marcos and boris said go straight from 4th to 2nd, and downshift earlier than anyone else. i gotta guess that's because they heel toe shift and have the techniques of true road racers. unsurprisingly, marcos drives V8 Supercar style, which makes the engine sound awesome!

I agree. The best chance for the Woods to return to competitive form was to have tried to get Marcos and run him full-time this year.

i think the reason why marcos is better than many of nascars drivers that converted from other cars is because the V8 Supercars are sedan style cars. They are much closer to Cup Cars than Indycars and F1 cars.

Marcos is exceptional as a road racer.Former road racers and Formula 1 and Champ Car drivers, Juan Pablo Montoya and Dario Franchitti don't have anywhere near the speed of Ambrose on the Nascar road circuits.
