I LOVE Clerks, and Mallrats was also really good, in my opinion. I like that it flopped, and that you pointed that out, but didn't notice that it became a cult classic. Chasing Amy, again, was a REALLY good movie. Overall, Kevin Smith is one of my favorite writer/directors.
Clerks was the first one he made. That is a must see for movies! It's one of the best cult classics I've seen and definitely one the best comedies ever.
I saw clerks, mallrats, then just got done seeing chasing amy, and dogma. The humor in all of them is unique and it kind of brings me back to the 90s. That's what I like about them. Although I wouldn't exactly make them favorites. I have high hopes for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks 2. Those look awesome!
