Great cover!! You should be on "IDOL!!"

oh wow you got a a good voice! I am thinking about buying a backpack guitar like this to play when i travel. I like them.

hmmm.

Nah, it sounds a lot more twangy. It has a thinner tone to it than a "real" classical guitar or a jumbo or whatever. The smaller the body the thinner the sound. I like the sound of it a lot. I actually bought mine because i wanted a different sound. It kind of crosses into banjo territory sound wise because of the thin twangy vibe it's got going.
It also has a shorter scale.

love the cover...how did you find travelling with the backpacker thinking of getting one for my gap year however i dont know what airports would be like with one, did you have any trouble?
-
ok thanks!!
-
well no its just not as loud as a regular acoustic but its the same sound
-
does the backpacker sound different from normal classicals??
-
9 months in another country with only my backpacker. You work with what you have...

try it on a regular acoustic i understand u were trying to get it in the low melody but do it with a regular acoustic
is it steel string or nylon?

Steel string, though I recommend using extra-light strings. Because the guitar has a unique "twang" to it, you don't need heavier gauge strings.

Thanks for all the great responses! The backpacker is great. It traveled with me (attached to my backpack) for 8 months and is still great!
